Courvoisier Cognac wants you to know National Cocktail Day (March 24) is just around the corner – and after a particularly long and cold winter, we’re all due for a refreshing cocktail to toast to the start of spring!
On behalf of Courvoisier Cognac, here is a unique recipe for the French Twist –Courvoisier’s seasonal twist on the timeless Daisy cocktail. The French Twist features bright notes of citrus and high-quality VSOP Cognac from the most awarded Cognac house* – making the French Twist the perfect cocktail to get us excited for warmer days, afternoon brunch, chic picnics outside with loved-ones, a round of drinks after hitting the links, and all things spring.
1.75 parts of Courvoisier VSOP
.5 parts of Orange Curacao or Triple Sec
.75 parts simple syrup
.5 parts fresh lemon juice
3 parts Fever-Tree Club Soda
Method: Build all ingredients except soda water into cocktail shaker, add ice, shake and strain over fresh cobble or crushed ice, top with soda water then garnish.
Garnish: Lemon wheel and raspberry; add botanicals for pops of color
