GARRETT STEPHENS SHARES THE NEW 2020-2021 FALL/WINTER HANDCRAFTED COCKTAILS AT COUNTY LINE I-10
No matter the weather, the new handcrafted cocktail menu at County Line for this fall-winter season works great!
I invite you to go try my favorite barbecue restaurant in San Antonio. As soon as you get out of your car and smell the meat cooking, you know you are in for a treat. The County Line IH 10 has the look and feel of an old BBQ joint and they have the que to make it real. I love coming to this friendly eatery only minutes from downtown. The location is good, the food is great and the cocktails are stellar.
Start the evening with an appetizer like these wonderful, spicy Mexican Deviled Eggs. That homemade salsa is the bomb (they do sell it to-go, so be sure to get you a pint to take with you). You’re welcome!! And get a cocktail to enjoy with them.
Leave it to Garrett Stephens, Assistant GM/pitmaster/chef/mixologist at The County Line Bar-B-Q restaurant, to come up with intriguing handcrafted cocktails for this fall and winter.
Located at 4334 Hyatt Place Drive (on IH-10 West between the Wurzbach and Huebner Road exits), the Fall/Winter cocktails are now available; a fun mix of classic cocktails with modern twists.
“We predict the ‘You’re the Mixologist’ Old Fashioned will be a big hit with our customers,” says Stephens. “It lets the guest choose from a selection of the finest bourbons and rye whiskeys; our house-made syrups; any combination of select bitters; and finish with some citrus and cherry options.”

I played mixologist for the night and made my own signature Old Fashioned. I started with the Treaty Oak Red Handed Bourbon (a local bourbon) added the Maple syrup, spiced cherry bitters and lemon peel with a House-Made spiced brandied Oregon cherry! It was delicious!! I agree with Garrett that this cocktail will be a big hit.
So how would you make yours? Come try your hand at being a mixologist!
I sipped my Old Fashioned with my appetizer, and I enjoyed it so much I ordered another to enjoy with my favorite BBQ plate, the combo brisket & chicken. This plate comes with a choice of two sides and will fill you up because it is so good you can’t put your fork down.
