Bakery Lorraine Launches New Fall Menu with Deliciousness in Mind!

With the arrival of Fall comes the new Fall menu at Bakery Lorraine. Ranging in options from sweet to savory there’s sure to be a dish to satisfy any craving. New menu items will be offered at all Bakery Lorraine locations, but please see below for certain restrictions.

Fall 2020 Pastries: 

  • Fall flavored macarons:
    • Pumpkin Spice
    • Cereal Milk
    • PB&J
    • Zinfandel
    • Caramel Apple
    • Pistachio
    • Earl Grey 
    • Raspberry
  • Pastries:
    • Pistachio Croissant – a twice-baked croissant with pistachio cream and toasted pistachios

  • Everything Bagel Croissant – a flaky croissant rolled in everything bagel spice
    • Apple Babka – braids of rich, buttery dough and stewed apples. Available individually or in a family-sized loaf.
    • Butternut Squash Muffin – served with a spiced pecan streusel 
    • Orange Cranberry Muffin – Gluten friendly and baked to a fluffy perfection
    • Chocolate Pear Tart – Vanilla poached pears baked in a rich, chocolate cream
    • Flan Patissier – Creamy, vanilla-infused mascarpone custard in a flaky pastry shell
    • Honey Almond Tart – Toasted almonds, vanilla cream and honey-drenched cake. Made with local honey from our friends at Gretchen Bee Ranch.
    • Raspberry Frangipane Tart – Fresh raspberries baked in almond cream
    • Pumpkin Panna Cotta – Tastes like pumpkin pie, but light as air!

  • Malted Chocolate Sandwich Cookie – Malted milk chocolate ganache and dark cocoa shortbreads
  • Cakes:
    • Banoffee –  Roasted rum bananas and caramel mousse enrobed in milk chocolate and toffee bits

  • Sachertorte – Dense, rich layers of chocolate almond sponge and apricot jam

New All-day Menu Items:

  • Apple Kouign Amann – Capturing that crisp fall flavor, Bakery Lorraine’s Apple Kouign Amann features extra buttery caramelized flaky layers, filled with tart apple curd. The Apple Kouign Amann is our caramelized kouign amann knot with a stewed apple filling, lightly scented with cinnamon. 
  • Butter Pecan Babka – This gooey and charming treat is a mix of butter, cinnamon, and finely chopped pecans. This delicious dessert is a pastry masterpiece. The babka will be studded with pecans and glazed in a rum butter sauce. These will come in loaves, so they are perfect as a treat for the whole family.
  • Almond Croissant – Bakery Lorraine’s popular Almond Croissant is now twice-baked, creating a buttery and flaky crust, filled with almond cream and topped with sliced almonds. 
  • Cinnamon Roll – Bakery Lorraine’s iconic Cinnamon Roll topped with a sweet honey glaze is now available all day. 
  • Frisee aux lardons – Mustard vinaigrette, lardons,  poached egg
  • Mixed Greens Salad – Autumn vinaigrette, chayote, broccoli, puffed pepitas, goat cheese
  • Salmon on everything croissant – Caper and dill cream cheese, smoked salmon, pickled red onions, sunflower sprouts

  • Ham and cheese on baguette – Comte cheese, mustard butter, ham
  • Fall Grilled cheese – Fontina, comte, goat cheese, apple compote
  • Babka with whipped sour cream and apple compote 
  • Brie and honeycomb – Baguette, triple cream brie, honeycomb

  • Blue cheese and arugula – Baguette, blue cheese, dressed arugula, walnuts
  • Confit butternut squash and goat cheese – Baguette, butternut squash, whipped goat cheese, honey, hazelnut
  • Egg Salad – Furikake, pickled carrots, kewpie

Weekend Only 

*Available at all locations

  • Patty Melt – Rye bread, mayo, comte, caramelized onions
  • French Toast – Caramelized banana, maple buttercream, candied pecans, warm maple syrup

New Dinner Items

*Dinner is available only at Pearl in San Antonio, Texas from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday evenings

  • Steak Frites – Askushi Flatiron steak, Herb butter, frites
