LA GLORIA BRINGS THE PARTY TO SAN ANTONIO RESIDENTS WITH THE LAUNCH OF SOFT SERVE MARGARITA TRUCKS
Craving something cool this summer? San Antonio staple La Gloria is excited to announce the launch of its latest effort, Margarita Trucks. Beginning today, La Gloria Margarita Trucks will bring the party to San Antonio residents with at-home delivery of La Gloria’s signature margaritas and assorted menu items. Voted #1 Margarita in San Antonio, La Gloria fans and margarita lovers alike can now enjoy their favorite soft serve beverages from the safety and comfort of their homes.
While social distancing is still encouraged during these uncertain times and with the hot summer days quickly approaching, San Antonio residents located Downtown can now enjoy home delivery within a three-mile radius of Crockett Park. Customers can reserve their delivery time by visiting www.LaGloria.com and clicking “Order Online” in the La Gloria Margarita Truck link. Margarita Trucks are open for online ordering and delivery Monday through Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday through Saturday from Noon to 8 p.m., and Sunday from Noon to 6 p.m. or as long as supplies last. In June, La Gloria will launch additional Margarita Trucks that will help to service other areas of San Antonio, including the Dominion, Stone Oak, Alamo Heights and other locations.
“Our Margarita Trucks are another fun and creative way to adapt to the ever-changing business landscape,” said Chef Johnny Hernandez, founder and President of Grupo La Gloria and True Flavors Inc. “Today, safety is top of mind for everyone, and many of our customers are simply not ready to dine out; however, we know that doesn’t mean they don’t crave one of our famous margaritas. Delivering to our customers’ homes does not only make enjoying our signature margaritas safer and more convenient, but this new avenue of serving our customers also helps to rebuild our business, in turn allowing us to hire back more members of our team.”
Margarita Trucks are offering drink packages and single-order La Gloria and The Fruteria favorites, as well as select menu items such as Bistec Taco Kits, Al Pastor Taco Kits, Pollo Al Carbon Taco Kits, Mexican Street Corn, and chips, salsa and queso from La Gloria’s retail food line; all taco kits have enough supplies to make 12 tacos. All orders require a minimum $40 purchase and will also include a $5 delivery charge. All food items will be delivered cold and can be easily warmed up in the oven or microwave to enjoy at home.
Individual La Gloria margaritas and cocktails will be served in 16oz. cups with a 50 mil. add-on of El Jimador starting at $10. Offerings include La Gloria’s House Margarita (frozen or on the rocks), La Gloria’s Blue Margarita, La Gloria’s Prickly Pear Margarita and La Gloria’s Mango Margarita. Drink packages (serving six persons) are available for purchase starting at $38 and include 12oz. cocktails sold with 375mil. bottles. Offerings include La Gloria’s House Margarita, the Los Pepinos Cucumber VodkaRita, the Las Fresas Margarita and Jack & Coke packs. Premium spirit upgrades will be available at an additional charge.

All orders must be paid for online; cash and in-person payment will not be accepted. In-person orders will also not be accepted at the Margarita Truck.
In alignment with CDC health guidelines and in compliance with city ordinances, all Margarita Truck employees will wear masks and gloves while assembling food and beverage orders. Valid I.D. will be required for all beverage purchases, and deliveries will be made with limited customer contact to allow staff to properly verify all beverage purchasers are 21 years of age or older.
