It’s Brunch and Beer To-Go with Homegrown Chef and Dorcol Distilling + Brewing Co. this Sunday, May 3

Homegrown Chef is thrilled to partner with Dorcol Distilling + Brewing Co. during this challenging time. We know many folks at home are getting tired of cooking, so we hope to offer them a fantastic Sunday Funday this Sunday, May 3, from 11-2 pm, when they can pick up their pre-ordered Homegrown Chef brunch and Betty, one of Dorcol’s signature brews. 

Other beers will be available to add on, including individual Betty cans, Betty six-packs, Micheladas and Michelada family packs, to make for a idyllic Sunday afternoon picnic.

All orders will be to-go, for pick-up, only. Guests will have a choice of three of Chef Ed’s brunch plates to choose from – breakfast favorites with Chef Ed’s beloved South Texas twists. 

“It’s always been a great pleasure to partner up with Dorcol, and even more so now. Being able to cook again and hopefully brighten someone’s day with some good food gives us purpose,” says Chef Edward Villarreal. “It also gives us a chance to give back. We are both donating 10% of the proceeds to buy produce boxes from SA Produce Box for people in need.”

All plates are $20 (plus tax) and include one (1) HighWheel Betty, with a Michelada mix available upon request.


Homegrown Chef Edward Villarreal presents

Option 1
Potato-Mushroom Hash
With achiote-braised pork shoulder, 2 scrambled eggs, salsa roja, cremita verde, and buttery TX Toast.
(Vegetarian Available Upon Request)

Option 2
Breakfast Torta
Bacon fat-refried beans, chorizo + egg omelet, Oaxaca cheese, scallions, cilantro mayo, avocado salsa, toasted bolillo with country fried potatoes.

Option 3
Buttermilk Pancakes
Topped with whipped sweet vanilla cream cheese, candied nuts and black cherry topping, with 2 pieces bacon, 2 scrambled eggs.
