VIVA FIESTA! Get Your Fiesta Favorite’s from the Comfort (and Safe Distance) of Your Car San Antonio – Join La Familia Cortez Restaurants for Their Downtown Drive-Thru Fiesta!
If there’s one thing San Antonio loves, it’s fiesta! La Familia Cortez has been hosting its drive-thru fiesta at their RIM location, Mi Familia de Mi Tierra, for the past week but due to popular demand, they are also bringing the fiesta downtown!
This Saturday, April 25 from 2 – 9 pm and Sunday, April 26 from 12 – 5 pm, don your best guayabera and embroidered blouse, get into your car and drive on over to Pico de Gallo’s parking lot (111 S Leona St, San Antonio, TX 78207). Food booths serving staples such as chicken-on-a-stick, gorditas and turkey legs will be lined up, allowing guests to get their fiesta fix from the comfort, and safe-distance, of their vehicles. After making your way through the variety of food options, guests can also purchase micheladas, margaritas, mangonadas and a variety of fiesta flair such as flower halos, papel picado and piñatas at the drive-up booths. Saturday La Familia Cortez will be hosting a parade float contest! Dress your car up as a float and use the hashtag #drivethrufiesta for a chance to win a $100 gift card to La Familia Cortez Restaurants.
Cars will start at Pico de Gallo’s parking lot and then continue to Mi Tierra’s lot, finish at La Margarita’s lot. Food orders will be placed at each booth and only credit cards will be accepted.
