James Beard Fellow, Chef Tim McDirmid, has Announced Her New Culinary Director of The Good Kind Hospitality Group as Chef Jeff White, Formerly of Eastside Kitchenette & Boiler House

The Good Kind Hospitality Group, which includes The Good Kind, Tim the Girl Catering & Ivy Hall Events has a new culinary director.

James Beard Fellow, Chef Tim McDiarmid aka Tim The Girl names new Culinary Director of The Good Kind Hospitality Group, which includes The Good Kind Southtown, Tim The Girl Catering, and Ivy Hall Events. 

Chef Jeff White will take the role of Culinary Director, bringing his unique gastronomy to The Good Kind’s fresh, locally sourced menu to create a memorable dining experience.

The chefs will collaborate to bring fresh comfort food to the Southtown area. Chef Jeff White will also focus his efforts on coordinating community events such as pop ups, backyard barbecues, and immersive chef activations in the garden.

Chef Tim is excited for the alliance stating, “I’m looking forward to working with Chef Jeff, who has a passion for comfort food like no one else in San Antonio.”

Chef Jeff is also looking forward to the new relationship saying, “I am excited to bring my southern flair to The Good Kind’s menu. It will be an exciting challenge to combine our culinary backgrounds.”

Located on Ivy Hall Event’s property, The Good Kind is a family-friendly and dog-friendly, casual neighborhood restaurant & bar offering a full food and bar menu. The Good Kind is open Monday through Thursday from 11am to 9pm, Friday from 11am to 10pm, Saturday from 10am to 10pm, and Sunday from 10am to 8pm.
