Here are a Couple of Perfect DIY Cocktails for National Margarita Day from JW Marriott’s Cibolo Moon

Try an Alameda Margarita, a Lemon-Berry Margarita or the Strawberry Jalapeño Margarita, a favorite among guests for its distinct flavor and a spice that sneaks up on you, but doesn’t overwhelm. The strawberry tequila is infused in-house and the recipe is kept simple to help the tequila shine.

Lemon Berry Infused Margarita

Ingredients:
1.5 oz Lemon Berry Infusion Tequila
0.5 oz Patron Citronage
1 oz Lime Juice
1 oz Agave
Method:
In mixing tin combine Tequila, Citronage, lime juice and Agave.
Shake and pour over ice with strainer.
Glass: 12 oz Margarita glass garnished with a Chili Salted Rim, Lemon wedge, 2 blueberries, 1 blackberry and 2 raspberries floating on top.
Strawberry Jalapeno Infused Margarita

Ingredients:
1.5 oz Strawberry Jalapeno Tequila
0.5 oz Patron Citronge
1 oz Fresh lime juice
1 oz Agave Nectar
Lime wedge and jalapeno for garnish
Method:
Combine tequila, Citronge, lime juice and agave nectar
Rim margarita glass with salt and fill with ice
Pour mixture over ice with strainer
Garnish with a lime wedge and jalapeño

San Antonio Mezcalita

Ingredients:
1.5 oz Santo Mezcal Tequila
0.5 oz Cointreau
1 oz Lime Juice
1 oz Agave
Muddled jalapeno
Method:
Mix ingredients in shaker tin with ice, shake, and strain into glass.
Glass:
12oz Margarita Glass, Garnished with a Chili Salted Rim, Lime Wedge, Orange Slice and jalapeno.
