Bottling Department at Pearl Welcomes SayTown Tacos

Pearl Announces New Concept at the Bottling Department: SayTown Tacos

New Concept by Humble House Foods to open at the Food Hall in February

In keeping with the Bottling Department’s commitment to incubate rising talent and new concepts, Pearl is excited to announce a new partner coming to the Food Hall, SayTown Tacos. The new concept, developed by local hot sauce maker and Pearl Farmers Market vendor Humble House Foods, will serve fresh tacos made daily and is expected to open by the end of February 2020.

The menu will consist of six unique taco options including the “Riverwalk-O-Taco” made with fresh flour tortillas, chicken, pickles, cheese, and crema; the “Fiesta Fuego” which consists of homemade corn tortillas, pork, vegetables, cheese, cilantro and lime; the “Popfather,” paying homage to Coach Popovich of the San Antonio Spurs and including a crispy tortilla, potatoes, vegetables, crema, and cheese; as well as other options. The menu will also include select sides and drinks like fideo, bunuelos, agua frescas, rice pudding, and more. The various sides, drinks, and desserts will be changed throughout the year based on seasonal availability. The entire menu will be priced between $3 – $4 and will also include a choice of Humble House house-made sauces.

“We are blessed to have been a founding member of the Pearl Farmers Market for the past 10 years,” said Luis Morales, co-owner of Humble House Foods and SayTown Tacos. “The loyalty and support of our customers has been monumental for the growth of our business. The new concept, SayTown Tacos, embodies the same dedication and commitment to quality that made Humble House unique. We hope our customers can follow us on this journey as we take the next step with Pearl into the Bottling Department.”
