Alamo Heights Bistro Introduces Paella on the Patio

Paella on the Patio will be a weekly immersive event where guests can watch Chef Damien Watel prepare the paella.

Alamo Heights’ Bistr09, located at 6106 Broadway San Antonio, Texas 78209, invites guests to join them for paella on the patio every Thursday beginning January 30, 2020 from 6pm-8pm for only $15.00.

Bistr09 will offer Paella, a Spanish dish of rice and saffron originating in Valencia, taking it name from the large pan the dish is prepared in. Generally containing fresh ingredients like lemon, garlic, tomatoes, red bell peppers and proteins such as mussels, shrimp, chorizo and chicken, Paella is often open to interpretation and created with whatever fresh proteins are available at the time of preparation.

Pealla on the Patio Thursdays will be an immersive dining experience taking place on Bistr09’s beautiful patio, where their chef will prepare the dish in front of guest for them.

Those who wish to partake in eating paella can do so for only $15 per person, as long as they reside on the patio or in the bar area.

Bistr09 is open for dinner Sunday & Monday from 4pm to 9pm, Tuesday & Wednesday from 4pm to 10pm, Thursday through Saturday from 4pm to 11pm. 

Brunch is served Sunday 11am to 2pm, and Happy Hour seven days a week from 4pm to 6pm.
