Launching Their Gourmet Chili Fixin’s in H-E-B on January 20, 2020 is Texas’ Own JD’s Chili Parlor
JD’s Chili Parlor, a chili-focused artisan food company and a 2019 top 20 finalist in H-E-B’s ‘Quest for Texas’ Best’ competition, is thrilled to announce that three of their gourmet chili fixin’s – Original, Pecan-Smoked Whiskey and Hatch Boch Beer – will soon be available in H-E-B stores all across Texas, including the San Antonio, Austin and Houston markets.
The Chili Queen of Texas, Diana Anderson, along with her husband and co-owner, John Anderson, have spent years developing their line of products, based on the historic Chili Queens’ handmade chili paste.
Each of these products was lovingly designed using five (5) different beautiful chili peppers and incorporated with one-of-a-kind Americana fusions that are unlike anything else on the market in the United States.
The Fixin’s were developed, not only to make a quick and easy pot of gourmet chili, but for a myriad of other culinary applications, such as a marinade, saute, barbecue sauce, dip and so much more.
“Our gourmet Chili Fixin’s can go anywhere your imagination takes you. We use our Fixin’s to make our own chili for events, but we also love incorporating them into all sorts of ethnic cuisines, such as Asian dumplings. They really are endlessly versatile,” says Diana Anderson.
The products officially launch on January 20th, 2020 at select H-E-B stores in Texas, and will be featured in H-E-B’s Cooking Connections, where the Chili Queen, Diana Anderson, will be presenting cooking demonstrations of her scintillating recipes using the gourmet Fixin’s.
“We’re both just so excited to be in H-E-B,” says Diana Anderson. “To be able to have other people all over Texas experience our chili is a dream come true for us. We’re on our way to achieving our goal to chilify the world. It’s just fantastic!”

Diana and John started their business in 2015, serving gourmet chili in fresh fried hash brown bowls at farmers markets and events, building a following of folks who travel miles and miles for a good “bowl of red.”
JD’s Chili Parlor officially launched their product line in March of 2019, which includes a five-pepper Gourmet Chili Paste and the following flavors for both the Chili Fixin’s and Enchilada Sauces: Original, Pecan-Smoked Whiskey, Red Wine Blackberry, Prickly Pear Tequila, Hatch Bock Beer Chili, Pineapple Morita, Honey Habanero and Tequila Lime.
While the Gourmet Chili Paste is primarily intended for chefs and home cooks, the other products can used by anyone to make a quick, delicious and healthful meal, just by adding their favorite meat or veggies.
