About Ida Claire

At Ida Claire, every recipe draws inspiration from southern classics with an international twist all prepared in an open kitchen. An eclectic ambiance of décor acquired during travels throughout the south sets the tone, inviting guests to enjoy menu mainstays such as homemade biscuits, muffulettas, po’ boys, shrimp and grits or Nashville hot chicken. There are also bountiful share plate options like fried green tomatoes and crawfish corn beignets, as well as lighter fare choices including soup, gumbo, salad and quiche. To round out the perfect meal, sweet treats like Ida’s Seasonal Pie or the signature Vice Cake (stout cake with tobacco simple syrup, coffee buttercream, smoked-candied bacon and ganache) round out the dessert menu.

Ida Claire’s southern hospitality continues on the patio with an inviting rose garden and a converted airstream trailer perfect for a quirky, secluded dining spot. The full bar of tasty libations includes custom cocktails like the Oh Bee Have (honeysuckle vodka, honey, lemon and bitters) or The Breakdown (rye whiskey, cognac, blanc vermouth, cocci torino, apple pepper syrup and angostura bitters). There’s also a wide selection of boozy punches (served as a single pour or for up to five people).
