Annual Kids Countdown New Year’s Eve Celebration Takes Place Dec 31 Starting at 10AM at the DoSeum
On Tuesday, December 31 from 10 am to 1 pm, The DoSeum invites children and their families to ring in 2020 at their Disco Glow themed Kids Countdown Celebration. Families will spend the last day of 2019, entertaining their senses with the Artists in Residence exhibitions, presenting the work of Amada Miller and Mark Menjivar. The exhibition invites families to smell the scents of outer space and listen for the calls of birds from southern Texas. The festivities include activities for children, music, and yummy New Year’s treats. A special “noon” year countdown includes a traditional ball drop just for kids.

General Admission covers access to all galleries inside The DoSeum. There are no additional fees to visit our Traveling Exhibits.
Adults (anyone 18yrs or older) without children are welcome at The DoSeum! In the interest of ensuring a safe environment for our young Guests, we will ask you to present a valid drivers license and submit to a brief automated background check before entry.
Tickets may be purchased online or in-person at the front desk. We accept cash and all major credit cards. General Admission tickets are not valid for special events.
