Come Home For the Hollandaise with Special Holiday Menu at Snooze AM Eatery
The new holiday menu selections at Snooze AM Eatery are about seasonal tastes with warm drinks and eats. I’m talking chocolate, peppermint, cider, toasted marshmallows, and cranberries. It’s time to eat, drink and be merry, but don’t waste time getting over there to have some cause it’s only available through New Year’s Day!
These festive and decadent holiday dishes and drinks will have you cheering the season and will bring out your inner child.
The holiday menu starts with a couple of great drinks:
The first is a Spiked Candy Cane Cocoa. This spirited version of everyone’s favorite warm winter drink will have you glad to be a grown up. The Snooze version of Hot Chocolate includes tequila & coffee liqueur along with peppermint, vanilla and of course lots of whipped cream. On top of the cream are cookie crumbs and crushed candy canes. You get the crunch of mint with chocolate in the cream as well as the cocoa. Oh so yummy!
And then there is the fragrant hot Celebration Cider. This mulled cider has rum and Aperol mixed into it. The aroma of the mulling spices, apple, cinnamon stick and a lemon twist, give it the smell that says. “sit by the fire and relax” to me. I could literally smell this drink across the room as it wafted through the air.
The holiday food selection included two original dishes:
The first, Nana’s Hot Cocoa Pancakes, will put you in chocolate nirvana! Chocolate lovers beware, this one can be addictive. These warm and fluffy pancakes come full of white chocolate chips, which are melting through the cakes. It comes topped with the biggest house-made marshmallow this food writer has ever seen, which has been fire glazed with a torch for that wonderful “roasted” marshmallow taste. Its gooey goodness is melting on top of the pancakes where it flows into the toasted pecans. But wait, there’s more. These cakes are served with a warm pot of Mexican hot chocolate for you to drizzle all over everything. Yes, chocolate nirvana!!
If you would rather not go into a sugar (chocolate) coma you can order the Home For The Hollandaise Benny which I really loved. Here, seared, cider-braised, habanero pork belly lays atop a lightly buttered and toasted English muffin. The pork belly is topped with a bacon-espresso jam (so delicious). Then it’s all topped with the most beautifully poached eggs which are topped with cream cheese hollandaise and a dollop of cranberry relish. Those eggs are cooked just right so when you cut into them, their golden yellow center flows all over the rest of the benny. This was the piece de resistance in my opinion.
As I mentioned, these selections are only on the menu until New Year’s Day, so you should make plans to get there soon. This is a great place to take house guests during the holidays.
You can also give the gift of Snooze with a gift card. For every $100 in Snooze gift cards you purchase, receive a $20 bonus card for you.
