The Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center invites San Antonio and beyond to kick off the holiday season in true Texas-Mexican style. “Celebrando Tradiciones: Fiesta de Navidad” will be held on the first Friday of December and feature the Guadalupe Dance Company and Mariachi Azteca de America, which audiences have come to love, in an annual Christmas extravaganza. The show offers a break from the frenzied holiday period with dancers and musicians filling the stage for a delightful offering of color, sound, and spirit. Holiday Saxophones

TICKETS WILL BEGIN SELLING NOVEMBER 11, 2019
The widely popular Holiday Saxophones is a unique annual event that has become a San Antonio holiday tradition. Thousands of San Antonians and visitors have been entertained by the concert’s instantly recognizable ‘San Antonio Sound’ for over 35 years. Bringing a variety of Jazz, R&B and popular standards, George Prado and the Regency Jazz band lead a line-up of legendary horn players like Al Gomez, Joe Posada, and Frank Rodarte along with some of the most talented musicians in the region. This year along with our popular evening show, we will add a second show, a matinee performance with a champagne brunch and soul food buffet.

Hecho a Mano

For over 30 years Hecho A Mano has celebrated San Antonio’s culturally unique and vibrant artisan community. This year the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center has partnered with its neighbor the Avenida Guadalupe Association to bring Hecho a Mano to the Plaza Guadalupe. This Outdoor Market is FREE and open to the public. Each year hundreds of art lovers and holiday shoppers seek out the handmade items by local artists that encompass both traditional and contemporary styles.
