Homegrown Chef Presents Sanwachos 2.0 at Alamo Biscuit Co.
Sanwachos 2.0 & Comedy will be taking place at Alamo Biscuit Company Nov. 15.
WHO: Homegrown Chef is an online culinary series featuring local chefs and restaurants in the hopes of inspiring SA to cook, eat and explore. Recently, Homegrown Chef launched their catering services with Chef Edward Villarreal at the helm.
Chef Edward was born and raised in San Antonio and rose through the culinary ranks over the past 20 years, starting out as a dishwasher and working with some of San Antonio’s top chefs, from Bruce Auden to Jeff White. Chef Edward artfully merges world flavors with indigenous South Texas ingredients to creative uniquely scrumptious dishes with “puro San Anto” flair!

WHAT: Homegrown Chef Edward Villarreal is back with some West Side flavor at Alamo Biscuit Company on Friday, November 15, poppin’ up with more mouthwatering Sanwachos – a one-night-only menu of incredible tortas, burgers and more.
The restaurant take-over is family-friendly from 5-8. Then from 8-9, comedian Edward Hernandez and special guests will perform a stand-up comedy show, courtesy of Comedy Live Productions. There is no additional charge for the comedy show, but tips are appreciated.
