Fall, Halloween & Thanksgiving Cocktails From William Grant & Sons Make Entertaining Easy & Delicious
It’s crazy to think how quickly Fall crept up on us this year! It’s already time to break out your autumnal décor and pour yourself a drink to celebrate the upcoming holiday season.
Fall is all about bringing people together – Football Sundays, Halloween, Thanksgiving. Whether you’re planning a spook-tacular Halloween evening or just craving the taste of Autumn, William Grant & Sons has curated a list of cocktails that will meet your transitioning taste buds this season.
Fall cocktails:
Created by Tim Herlihy, Tullamore D.E.W. Ambassador
Ingredients:
2 parts Tullamore D.E.W. Cider Cask
Finish with Fresh-pressed Apple Juice
Directions:
Build in a highball glass over ice, garnish with an apple wedge.

Ingredients:
1 part Glenfiddich 12 Year Old
1 part club soda
1 part non-alcoholic apple cider
½ part fresh lemon juice
¼ part Drambuie
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Lemon peel, to garnish
Glass: Flute
Method: Combine the Glenfiddich 12 Year Old, lemon juice, Drambuie, and bitters. Shake briefly and pour into a flute. Add club soda and cider. Garnish with a lemon twist.

Ingredients:
2 parts Hendrick’s Gin
3/4 part Sugar Syrup
1/2 part Lemon Juice
1/2 Pear
Garnish: Fan of pear
Method: Muddle the pear with sugar. Add rest and shake.
Glassware: Cocktail glass
The Campfire Old Fashioned

Ingredients:
1 3/4 parts Glenfiddich 14 Year Bourbon Barrel Reserve
1/4 part Glenfiddich Fire & Cane
1/2 part Marshmallow Syrup
Toasted marshmallow, to garnish
In a mixing glass, combine all ingredients except toasted marshmallow and stir over ice.
Strain over ice into a double rocks glass.
Garnish with toasted marshmallow.
Marshmallow syrup: In a saucepan over low heat combine 1 cup Marshmallow Fluff, 1/4 cup of sugar, 2 tablespoons of cacao nibs and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract. Heat slowly to incorporate then strain through a coffee filter. Refrigerate and store. Keep up to one week.
Halloween cocktails:
The Witching Hour
Created by Hendrick’s Gin National Ambassador, Mattias Horseman

Ingredients:
3 Parts Hendrick’s Gin
½ Part Chambord
1 Part Fresh Lemon Juice
1 Part Lavender Syrup
Dry Sparkling Wine (to top-off)
Method: Shake all ingredients except the sparkling wine, and double strain into flute.
Glass: Champagne flute
Garnish: Blackberry
The Blood in Hand (Blood in Sand)

Ingredients:
1 part Tullamore D.E.W. Irish Whiskey
1 part Cherry Liqueur (preferably Cherry Heering)
1 part Sweet Vermouth
1 part Orange juice, freshly squeezed
Method:Add all the ingredients to a shaker and fill with ice. Shake, and strain into a rocks glass
The Spooky Neighbor

Ingredients:
2 parts Glenfiddich 12 Year Old
1 part China China
1 part Suze
½ part bar spoon coffee liqueur
Method: Stir all ingredients over ice and strain into a double rocks glass with one large ice cube.
Garnish with an orange and lemon twist.
