Giving Away FREE Appetizers For School Supply Donations at Eastside Kitchenette

As the school year approaches, Eastside Kitchenette, located at2119 N Interstate 35, San Antonio, TX 78208, wanted to find a way to give back to their local community, so they have decided to host a school supply drive for near-by John J. Pershing Elementary School from August 1^stto August 16^th.

Guests are encouraged to bring school supplies in exchange for a free appetizer, as a way of saying thank you for helping others. Those who opt to particiapte can choose from a variety of appetizers on the menu including fan favorites, such as the grilled bacon wrapped jalapeno skewers, and bacon & pimento hushpuppies. Offer is valid for one per person.

John J. Pershing Elementary School, which is less than a mile from the restaurant, is in most need of school supplies such as glue, crayons, markers, #2 pencils, and scissors. Donations can be brought to the restaurant at any time, and turned into their server for a complimentary appetizer.

Eastside Kitchenette features unique southern comfort food curated by Chef Jeff White. The family-friendly and dog-friendly casual neighborhood restaurant/bar is open seven days a week for lunch, brunch and dinner. Hours of operation include Monday through Friday from 11am to 10pm, Saturday from 10am to 10pm, and Sunday 10am to 4pm.

About Eastside Kitchenette

Our menu features Southern regional classics just like Mom used to make, only better perhaps. There are plates of hushpuppies with white barbecue sauce, charred octopus with apple pico de gallo, barbecue meatloaf, chicken and brioche dumplings, blue crab-stuffed catfish, double hamburgers, entrée salads, and country-fried duck confit. Even the condiments and pickles are house-made.
