Public Invited to Special Dinner Wednesday, May 15 at Hotel Emma with Corazón Tequila’s Master Distiller
WHAT: In celebration of its new partnership with Corazón Tequila from Casa San Matías distillery and its signature Hotel Emma barrel in Sternewirth, Hotel Emma is excited to host a special four-course dinner on Wednesday, May 15 beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The evening will consist of a meet and greet with owner and CEO Carmen Villareal and master distiller Rocio Rodriguez, the only female master distiller in Mexico. Since 1997, Carmen has led her family’s business, which is backed by 130 years of distilling expertise. She is one of only a few female leaders and owners in Mexico’s tequila industry. Guests will then be seated for a four-course dinner where Hotel Emma’s Chef Jaime Gonzalez will introduce each course and its Corazón tequila or cocktail pairing, along with additional spirits from Casa San Matías distillery.

“We’re thrilled and honored to partner with Casa San Matías distillery and Corazón tequila. Corazón’s female leadership resonated with our story at Hotel Emma, making it a perfect fit. Plus their tequila is outstanding,” says Vice President of Marketing, Beth Smith. “We hope this is the beginning of a long lasting partnership with the brand.”
This dinner will mark the release of Hotel Emma’s single barrel from Corazón. Aged exclusively in barrels from Sazerac’s award-winning whiskey brands, Corazón Single Barrel gives the tequila a unique flavor unlike any others in the market. Following this inaugural event, the hotel will be utilizing the single barrel for exclusive concoctions throughout the hotel.

Tickets for the event are $95 and are available for purchase below.
