Jack Daniel’s Winning Cocktail Line-Up for March Madness Parties
We all know that during March Madness, it’s all about bracket busters and winners right? These refreshing and flavorful cocktails are perfect for celebrating the big game tip-off of your favorite college basketball team with your closest friends.
What is March Madness? The 2019 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament is a single-elimination tournament of 68 teams to determine the men’s National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college basketball national champion for the 2018–19 season. The 81st annual edition of the tournament is scheduled to begin on March 19, 2019 and will conclude with the championship game on April 8 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Two schools are making their first appearance in the tournament: Big South champion Gardner–Webb and Southland champion Abilene Christian.
A total of 68 teams will enter the 2019 tournament. 32 automatic bids shall be awarded to each program that wins their conference’s tournament. The remaining 36 bids are “at-large”, with selections extended by the NCAA Selection Committee.
Eight teams (the four lowest-seeded automatic qualifiers and the four lowest-seeded at-large teams) will play in the First Four (the successor to what had been popularly known as “play-in games” through the 2010 tournament). The winners of these games advance to the main draw of the tournament.
The Selection Committee also seeded the entire field from 1 to 68.
The selection process was completed on Sunday, March 17. So let the games begin!
If you are someone who gets crazed during March Madness, you definitely aren’t alone. Everywhere you go fans are talking about it and making wagers on who they think will win. The games will be viewed in sports bar, restaurants and in homes across the country.
If you are holding a March Madness themed party this year your patio or basement will probably be equipped with basketball hoops and balls for guests to try their hand at the game.

Made with Tennessee Honey: A blend of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey and a unique honey liqueur of our own making, for a taste that’s one-of-a-kind and unmistakably Jack. With hints of honey and a finish that’s naturally smooth, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey offers a taste of the unexpected.
1 ½ oz Jack Daniel’s® Tennessee Honey
2 oz Pineapple Juice
1 oz Orange Juice
½ oz Coco Real
Shake all with ice. Strain over fresh ice in a tiki or Collins glass. Garnish with pineapple wedge or orange.
Made with Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey: Mellowed drop by drop through 10-feet of sugar maple charcoal, then matured in handcrafted barrels of our own making. And our Tennessee Whiskey doesn’t follow a calendar. It’s only ready when our tasters say it is. We judge it by the way it looks. By its aroma. And of course, by the way it tastes. It’s how Jack Daniel himself did it over a century ago. And how we still do it today.
1 ½ oz Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey
3 oz Coca-Cola
½ oz Real Passionfruit Puree
1 small Dill stem
Shake all with ice. Pour over fresh ice into a Collins glass.
NOTHING BUT NET

Made with Tennessee Rye: Crafted with our 70-percent rye grain bill, natural spring water from our own Cave Spring Hollow, and Jack’s time-honored charcoal mellowing process, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Rye is a whiskey that could only come from Lynchburg, Tennessee. Master Distiller Jeff Arnett and the whiskey makers of the Jack Daniel Distillery have created a unique rye that’s undeniably spicy and complex yet sippin’ smooth. It might be one of our first new recipes in over 150-years, but if you know Jack, you’ll know Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Rye.
