91st Academy Awards (Oscars) Worthy Cocktails for the Red Carpet
It’s time to roll out the red carpet! The 91st Academy Awards (Oscars) airs on February 24th and while you are catching up on all the nominees you missed in theaters, we have you covered with the perfect Best Picture Nominee Cocktails – just in time for the big day!
Whether you’re chanting “Wakanda Forever” or singing every lyric to the A Star is Born soundtrack, your viewing party will have you winning an Oscar of your own with these noteworthy cocktails.
“Black Panther”
Black Panther “Vibranium”
2 oz. Slow and Low
1 oz. Lemon Juice
1 oz. Simple Syrup
1/4 tsp Activated Charcoal
Method: Combine all ingredients in a shaker tin. Shake vigorously with ice. Strain over large
cube in an old fashioned glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.
“BlacKkKlansman”
SUPERFLY

1.5 oz Zaya Rum
5 oz Brancamenta
Angostura Bitters
Hot chocolate (recommend dark chocolate)
Whole milk
Directions: Pour 1.5 oz Zaya into a glass mug, and add 2 dashes of Angostura bitters. Steam 7 oz of whole milk with 40 g hot dark chocolate, and pour into the mug.
Top with Brancamenta whipped cream**
**Brancamenta whipped cream: Stir 5 oz of Brancamenta, and 2 tablespoons of superfine sugar into 26 oz heavy cream, dissolving the sugar. Pour this mixture into an iSi whipped cream canister, load 2 cream chargers, chill and dispense.
“Bohemian Rhapsody”

1.5oz Slow & Low
.5oz Orange Liqueur
1oz espresso
Honey
1 drop of Hemp CBD oil (Not required)
Almond Milk Foam
“The Favourite”
Woodford Reserve Tea Punch

Ingredients:
6 cups of Unsweetened Tea (3oz. per glass)
3 cups Strawberry Lemonade (1.5oz. per glass)
3 cups Orange Juice (1.5oz per glass)
4 cups Woodford Reserve Distiller’s Select Bourbon (2oz per glass)
Method:
Pour over ice
Garnish with a mint sprig and a cinnamon stick
“Green Book”
Proper Old Fashion

Ingredients:
2 oz Proper No. 12
.25 oz Guinness Demerara syrup
.25 oz Amaro Nonino
1 dash Walnut bitters
Garnish: Orange Twist
Directions:
Method: Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass, stir to chill. Strain into a rocks glass.
Guiness Demerara Syrup
Ingredients:
1.5 quart Guinness
1 quart Demerara
2 sticks of cinnamon
2 tablespoons of pink peppercorn
Directions:
Bring the Guinness to a simmer in a saucepan and allow to reduce by approximately half.
Add cinnamon and pink peppercorn. Whisk in demerara sugar. Stir and simmer for five min allowing the mixture to thicken. Stain and cool.
“Roma”
Elevated Paloma
Recipe:
2 parts Avion Reposado or Avion Silver Tequila
1 part Grapefruit Juice
½ part simple syrup
½ part fresh lime juice
Splash club soda
Method:
Build ingredients over ice in a Collins glass. Stir ingredients to chill. Garnish with a lime wedge.
“A Star Is Born”
Bittersweet Endings
Ingredients:
2 oz. Crystal Head Vodka
1 oz. Benedictine
Garnish: Lemon twist
Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a shaker with ice and stir gently.
Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
“Vice”
Inside Out

- 1 tsp. Branca Menta
- 1 dash Absinthe
