Help Save the Ship at this FREE Event for Battleship Texas Foundation at Alamo Beer Company Sept 22
The Battleship Texas Foundation and Alamo Beer Co are partnering together to help save the ship, Battleship Texas, the nation’s last surviving dreadnought.
The Battleship Texas Foundation and Alamo Beer Company have joined forces to raise awareness about the nation’s last surviving dreadnought, Battleship Texas. The partners will host a free community event at the brewery in efforts to secure petition signatures and help save the ship. Alamo Beer Company will be offering a limited-edition pint glass and drink deal for those attendees that sign the petition.
On the scene will be a large ice sculpture of the Battleship Texas, a battleship-sized petition, and life-sized battleship game. The event will be touring throughout the Lone Star State; it started in Houston and is now traveling to Austin, San Antonio and Dallas. Guests are encouraged to share experiences on social media using the hashtag #COMEANDSAVEIT while tagging the campaign-dedicated Instagram and Twitter accounts, @ComeAndSaveIt.
