Espresso Amore Mio takes You on a Sensory Adventure at McNay’s Art Vinyl: Spin it Your Way
Get ready to take a different kind of sensory adventure at the McNay Museum of Modern Art with Espresso Amore Mio. The art at this museum flows with beauty, but on Friday, September 7th there will be art of a different nature flowing.
Espresso Amore Mio, San Antonio’s Mobile Barista Bar, will be in-house shaking up some coffee drinks that will have even non-coffee drinkers coming back for more. The owners of this Coffee Bar are both highly experienced musicians. Leonor Ramirez, a classical pianist who attended Julliard School of Music and Nina Rodriquez, a Grammy Award winning Percussionist & Musician, have every intention of rock’in this event. In fact as guests enter the McNay lobby they will be greeted by both delicious, custom coffee drinks and by rhythmic music. While this “band of baristas” create the best pours made from a combination of aromatic Brazilian & Ethiopian coffee beans, they will be spinning a playlist of great jazz from Ethiopia and Bossa Novas & Sambas from Brazil to extend the atmosphere and get your toes tapping.
You can expect drinks like their signature Iced Caffe Shakerato made with a double shot of espresso poured over ice and shaken vigorously together with their signature ingredients, strained & poured over an aromatic dehydrated mandarin wheel, dusted with cocoa and finished with whip cream. This drink contains nuances of vanilla, almond, cinnamon, cocoa liquor and chilies. Or partake of their Hot Bourbon Caramel Latte which will raise your temperature with its double shot of espresso infused with bourbon caramel syrup and steamed milk, then topped with caramel drizzle.
And if that isn’t enough to get you pumped up for an evening of art buying, they will be offering guests the chance to let loose to the beat of the music with hands on drumming and percussion playing. They will literally be orchestrating a production of coffee-making that will challenge and excite your palate. Expect your senses to be delivered to a place beyond your expectations. Espresso Amore Mio is also partnering with the fantastic arts & graphics team of ChileMedia.com with fun visuals, Art Vinyl selfie wall and more!
