Easter Specials Happening Around Downtown

In case you haven’t already made Easter plans, here are some Easter specials happening around downtown San Antonio that might be of interest to you.


  • Bakery Lorraine: will offer special Easter egg moonpies, carrot cake and bunny heads made with white chocolate mousse and strawberry compote.

    • Hours: 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.

  • Boiler House: will have Easter Brunch specials including, Carrot oatmeal pancakes, Cast iron Rabbit bread pudding, Lobster Cobb, Cured salmon patty melt, and a Country ham Benedict. Boiler House will also offer brunch favorites such as, The “David Lee Roth” Krispy Kreme Burger, Hangover Hash and Green Chili Pork and Eggs.

      Southerleigh: will celebrate Easter Sunday will delicious drink specials including specialty mimosa’s, michelada, and various brewed beers

  • Rosella at the Rand: will offer a “Live Jazz Easter Brunch” from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. The Brunch menu includes, Chicken and Waffles, Tom’s Huevos Rancheros, Chicken Biscuits and gravy and more. For beverages, the full bar will be serving mimosa’s, bloody mary’s and micheladas. Rosella’s newest location, Rossella at the Garden, will also be offering the same Easter Brunch menu from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Rosella on E Jones Ave will be open serving breakfast from 8 a.m. – 3p.m.

  • Twang: If you’re planning on celebrating Easter Sunday at home with family and friends, Twang has some delicious recipes to try!

    • Michelada Deviled Eggs: Traditional deviled eggs with a twist of michelada inspired flavor by using Twang’s Michelada Beer Salt.


Recipe: Michelada Deviled Eggs

  • 5 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp light mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp TWANG Michelada Beer Salt
1. In a medium saucepan, cover eggs with 1 inch of water. Bring to a boil; remove from heat. Cover and let stand 12 minutes. Drain eggs; run under cold water until cool enough to handle.
2. Peel and halve eggs lengthwise; remove yolks and transfer to a bowl. Mash with a fork; mix in mayonnaise, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth. Stir tomato paste, and TWANG Michelada Beer Salt into yolk mixture.
3. Fill yolk mixture into whites. Serve immediately, or chill up to 2 hours.
    • Slow Cooker Pulled Pork: A unique appetizer for guests to enjoy before the egg scavenger hunt.


Recipe: Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

  • 3 lbs pork shoulder, or pork loin
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp ZAS! Tamarind Salt
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 cup whole garlic, peeled garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup orange juice (optional)

Add all ingredients to slow-cooker and cook on low-heat over night (about 8-10 hours)
