Homegrown Chef Partners with It’s Destiny Catering for a True Farm-to-Table Dinner

Homegrown Chef is partnering with It’s Destiny Catering to bring the City of San Antonio a truly farm-to-table experience, hosted at Veg’d Out Urban Farms, a new farm just 15 minutes south of downtown, within the Bexar County city limits.

This Latin-themed dinner, Cenas y Chelas (Dinner & Beer), will feature some of San Antonio’s up-and-coming chefs and artisan food/drink companies, including Destiny Aponte of It’s Destiny Catering, Ricardo Ramirez of the new food truck, Tortugas Tortas, Diana and John Anderson of JD’s Chili Parlor, Pastry Chef Stephanie LanzoHomegrown Chef (culinary series) and Islla St. Brewing (who will be sponsoring the beer pairings).

Guests are invited to taste the local food scene fresh on the farm, go on a farm tour, enjoy music by DJ Stevie G, and take pics in the photo booth with live goats, and chickens if they can catch one!
