Cuisine Choices are Endless for Culinaria Winter Restaurant Week

Cuisine Choices Fit Every Palate During Restaurant Week in San Antonio

Cuisine choices are endless and we can’t help but start preparing our lists of restaurants we’ve been dying to try. With only 13 days to indulge in as many delicious dishes as possible and with over 80 restaurants participating in this year’s event, it’s hard to narrow down where to go. We’ve rounded up some of the top places to dine at this Restaurant Week.

Biga on the Banks

203 S. St. Mary’s Street, San Antonio, Texas 78205; 210.225.0722
FridaySaturday 5:30 – 11:00 pm
SundayThursday 5:30 – 10:00 pm
Act like a tourist in your own city at nationally-renowned Biga on the Banks. Biga on the Banks showcases the creative cuisine of chef/owner, Bruce Auden, who catapulted to the top of the city’s dining scene when he arrived here in the mid-1980s. Biga’s atmosphere and level of service combined with the delightful and often whimsical dishes to create one of San Antonio’s most beloved restaurants. Choose your own adventure with their Restaurant Week menu. With at least three different and unique options for each course, you can enjoy dishes like beef tartar, pan seared scallops, and chocolate bourbon pecan pie.

There is nothing basic about this pizza. With housemade coppa, prosciutto, pepperoni among other meats, along with housemade cheeses and sauces and vegetables purchased from local farmers, a pizza fresh from the fire at Il Forno will change the way you think about the humble pie. Come for the pizza, but save room for the antipasto and local beer and wine. With a casual and warm ambience and food this good, this hotspot will quickly make you a regular. Enjoy a  romaine salad with and spicy parmesan dressing, an 8” “Seasonal” pizza, and decadent chocolate mousse to end your meal.
