Fall Cocktails Embrace the Changing of Seasons at Your Parties

Whose’s ready for Fall and fall cocktails? Labor Day marks the ‘unofficial’ start of fall, which technically begins September 22, but the kids are back at school, football season has begun, and who isn’t ready for some cooler weather? William Grant & Sons, a family-owned distillery featuring a vast portfolio of award-winning super-premium spirits, will help you embrace the fall with three fall cocktails. And for those that are not ready to embrace the changing of seasons we also have four cocktail worthy holidays coming up; Mexican Independence Day, National Vodka Day, International Gin & Tonic Day, and of course Halloween!

For those not ready for hot beverages just yet, the Dramble is the perfect cocktail to ease into fall featuring Drambuie and Hendrick’s Gin, both of which are produced in Scotland. Drambuie’s unique blend of aged Scotch whisky with a secret combination of spices, heather honey and herbs complements Hendrick’s signature infusion of cucumber and rose petals. www.drambuie.com www.hendricksgin.com

Spirited Celebrations

September 16 – Mexican Independence Day

Mexican Independence Day celebrates the “cry of independence” and end of Spanish rule in Mexico on September 16Milagro Tequila Brand Ambassador Jaime Salas recommends you celebrate with food and tequila cocktails, such as The Freshest Sangrita made with Milagro Silver. www.milagrotequila.com

For those interested in pairing your food with the right tequila, Jaime says, “My recommendation is that you pair Milagro Silver with your more light, citric and savory dishes. For example, it’s a great way to highlight the complementary taste in a ceviche.”

  • Costumes: The Celtic people would dress up in animal skins, furs and heads to trick evil spirits.
