NestFresh Rejoices in Local, Natural, Cage Free Eggs

NestFresh Celebrates Regional Agricultural Involvement Through GO TEXAN Program

NestFresh local, sustainable, humanely produced eggs proclaims continued local support with Texas Department of Agriculture’s GO TEXAN program.

These eggs are the freshest I have found at my local grocery. Not sure brown over white makes a difference but the brown always look more appealing to me. I like that the chickens are not only cage free but are pasture and humanely raised. I also like that they are organic and fed vegetarian diets. These chickens are never exposed to hormones, antibiotics, or any harmful chemicals. Another plus, these eggs are packed into recycled, recyclable, and compostable cartons. No plastics used. If you are concerned about the products you buy and the foods you feed your family, NestFresh should be on your radar.

Here are some stores where you can buy them:

  • Natural Grocers
  • Randall’s
  • Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage
  • Nature Fed Eggs at Whole Foods
  • Brookshire Bros
  • HEB

Or you can click on the location page to find stores near you.

NestFresh, the leader in sustainable, local, humane and natural eggs, is celebrating its inclusion in the GO TEXAN program. GO TEXAN, in the program’s own words, “celebrates and supports the business savvy and plainspoken grit” within the Texas agriculture industry. NestFresh, as part of the program, is among the brands that represent Texas agriculture on state and national levels. In doing so, the brand endeavors to help ingredient-conscious shoppers more easily find Texas products and support a thriving local economy.

Regional farms throughout Texas produce and supply farm fresh eggs in a sustainable system and each farm is specially chosen with animal welfare, stewardship of the land and local production as a priority. From the founding of the brand, the Colorado-based company has remained a local favorite, but with the help of its national network of regional egg producers, the company has continued to provide communities across the nation with fresher and healthier locally produced eggs.

“It’s important to NestFresh that we provide consumers everywhere with the very best eggs. As part of the GO TEXAN program, we can definitively say that we’re not only providing local shoppers with exceptionally sourced cage-free eggs but also supporting regional egg farmers,” says shares Brandy Gamoning, Marketing Manager for NestFresh. “Celebrating NestFresh in Texas is just one way we are able to commit to our promise of humane animal care, sustainable agriculture and family farming.”

The GO TEXAN Program is a comprehensive initiative from the Texas Department of Agriculture designed to promote the growth and prosperity of Texas-proud companies. With its inclusion, the brand has strived to uphold the responsibilities that come with being identified as a local brand. Above all, its support of regional egg farmers has promoted the sustainability of the Texas agricultural industry.
