Hotel Emma to Host San Antonio’s First No Kid Hungry Dinner on May 21

On Sunday, May 21, Chef John Brand and Executive Pastry Chef Jenn Riesman of Hotel Emma will host the first-ever San Antonio No Kid Hungry Dinner presented by Citi. The two chefs alongside an amazing team of guest chefs will create a special multi-course dinner to benefit No Kid Hungry’s work to end childhood hunger in America.

The dinner will unite nationally renowned guest chefs Ned Elliott of Foreign & Domestic in Austin, Ben Ford of Ford’s Filling Station in Los Angeles, Michael Paley of South Congress Hotel in Austin, and Ryan Lachaine of Riel in Houston for a common cause: making sure all children in this country have the healthy food they need every day. The event will also feature guest speaker Ruth Riley, general manager for the San Antonio Stars.

The special event will feature a cocktail reception, seated multi-course dinner, and live auction where guests will have the opportunity to bid on a variety of one-of-a-kind luxury, culinary, and travel items. All proceeds from the event support No Kid Hungry’s work to end childhood hunger in Texas and across the country.

“We are honored to host such a special dinner for this important cause,” says Chef John Brand from Hotel Emma. I’m excited to collaborate with an exceptional group of chefs, and thrilled that the San Antonio community will have the opportunity to contribute to No Kid Hungry while enjoying a special evening and delicious dinner.”
