Popular Dishes Showcased at The General Public during Restaurant Week
Diners can score a deal on popular dishes showcased during lunch and dinner at The General Public while helping local charity Jan. 16-29. San Antonio Restaurant Week is a celebration of the best dining in the city.
The General Public is participating in this year’s Restaurant Week festivities with custom, three-course menus for both lunch and dinner.
With each meal ordered from Jan. 16-29, The General Public will donate $1 to Culinaria for lunch and $2 for dinner.
The $15 prix fixe lunch menu begins with a Seasonal Spread, followed by a choice of:
- Young Kale Caesar– baby kale, parmigiano-reggiano, Caesar dressing, pistachio toast; or,
- Chicken Apple Club– sourdough, mayo, lettuce, tomato, avocado, green apples and bacon, served with fries or quinoa salad
Top off your lunch with a decadent slice of Butterscotch Pie, served with sweet vanilla cream, sea salt caramel and gingersnap crumbles.
Guests indulging in dinner at The General Public will begin their culinary journey with a choice of Burrata & Pistachio Toast or Young Kale Caesar. The $35 menu continues with a variety of entrees, including either:
- Center Cut Ribeye– hand cut steak, local butter, wild arugula; or,
- Pork & Greens– braised kale with bacon aioli and crumbled cornbread
The evening’s journey will end with your pick from a delectable pair of desserts, including Butterscotch Pie and The General Public’s signature Birthday Cake.

San Antonio Restaurant Week has become one of Culinaria’s largest events, with more than 1.5 million guests enjoying the fun while also bringing national attention to San Antonio’s most talented chefs.

Its signature horseshoe-shaped bar is tended by expert cocktail crafters eager to share such enticing indulgences as Dr. Funk, the Four Thieves, the Caipirinha and the Rusky Rose.
