3 San Antonio Places that should Definitely be Considered for Thanksgiving Culinary Treats
Consider these 3 San Antonio places when wanting something special for your culinary feast this Thanksgiving.
The first of 3 San Antonio places to consider for Thanksgiving is Hotel Emma which will offer several Thanksgiving specials from Supper, Larder, Sternewirth and its In-Room Dinning.
Coming together for good food at your favorite place… it’s an American tradition. At Supper, Chef John Brand is straightforward and creative, guided by flavor, what’s in season, and what feels good at a table shared by friends. On the bank of the San Antonio River, Supper feels part farm table, part bistro table. Brand’s elemental Midwestern approach is peppered with South Texas’ multicultural foodways and enriched with the bounty of our year-round producers.

Tucked away in the old fermenting cellars, LARDER at Hotel Emma carries local groceries, fine provisions, wine, beer, baked goods, flowers, house-butchered meats and freshly-prepared foods to eat in or take out. It’s a South Texas food store with a soupçon of Euro-sophistication where hotel guests and locals alike can stock up on life’s culinary luxuries or simply enjoy a glass of wine in the Brewmeisters alley at the end of the day.
Hospitality is the watchword at Sternewirth, Hotel Emma’s bar and clubroom. A dramatic 25-foot vaulted ceiling soars over intimate groupings of sofas, easy chairs and banquettes arranged to encourage conversation, celebration and business deals. Enjoy a restorative cocktail, a notable wine or sturdy craft beer. Come for the city bar authenticity, classic cocktails made without gimmicks, and hearty small plates that satisfy your appetite for flavor and substance.
In Room Dining
Kick off your shoes. Slip on your robe. Call room service. Bliss. Hotel Emma is Pearl’s flagship culinary destination and under Chef John Brand’s direction, in-room dining delivers the same level of culinary enlightenment you will find at the Chef’s table at Supper or on the patio of Larder.
