In commemoration of Mexico’s most important civic celebration, we are proud to present our guests with “Chiles en Nogada” as the main dish.
“Chiles en nogada” is a traditional Mexican dish made with poblano peppers filled with a special mix of meat and fruits, covered with walnut sauce (nogada), and garnished with pomegranate seeds and parsley. It showcases the Mexican flag colors, red, white and green. It is the representative dish of the Mexican Independence and it is prepared as early as mid-August and September through mid-October with fruits of the season.
A fusion of indigenous and colonial flavors. We are excited to pair it with the aromatic apricot flavors of the cocktails prepared just for the occasion with Kinsman Rakia!
Cocina Heritage takes pride in delighting its guests with history filled dishes.
