Toasted Elevated Eatery and Bar with In-House Bakery to Open This Summer
Dallas is getting its own gourmet toast shop, and it doesn’t just stop there. TOASTED Coffee + Kitchen, an elevated eatery and bar featuring artisanal TOAST, is a brand new concept coming to Lowest Greenville and Ross Avenue from co-founders Joel Roldan, concept creator, and Bob Sinnott, Dallas restaurant industry veteran, this summer.
“We envision TOASTED as a place where Dallas locals can enjoy sweet and savory toasts, locally roasted coffee or handcrafted cocktails any time of the day,” said Joel Roldan, co-founder/president of TOASTED. “We’ve thoughtfully designed the space and menu to create a warm and inviting atmosphere.”
From day to night, this eatery will serve as a retreat for Dallas locals to enjoy a variety of gourmet toasts, grilled-cheese sandwiches and specialty sandwiches using fresh bread from its own full-scale in-house bakery. All-natural ingredients will be reflected in everything from its culinary creations prepared in its open kitchen to its locally roasted coffee, craft beer and cocktails.
“We saw a great opportunity to bring TOASTED to life as Dallas is becoming a hub for gourmet, fast-casual eateries,” said Bob Sinnott, co-founder/CEO of TOASTED. “We’ve strategically positioned our first location in the lowest Greenville/Ross corridor, the gateway to downtown Dallas.”
Along with its aforementioned in-house bakery and open kitchen, this eatery will include an open-air patio and loft-style second level. Guests will be able to sit back and enjoy the lively atmosphere and aromas of fresh baked bread and roasted coffee.
TOASTED’s food menu will include a wide selection of Simple Toasts such as sweet rye, cream cheese, and volcanic sea salt; Open-Faced Heartier Toasts including an option with country bread, bananas, coarsely chopped chocolate, and sunflower sauce; Grilled Cheese Sandwiches such as levain bread, arugula, roma tomato slice, bacon, and mozzarella; and Specialty Sandwiches including one with Hawaiian bread, guajillo pulled pork, pineapple, grilled red onions, and chipotle mayo. The menu will also include gluten-free and paleo options.
On the beverage side, TOASTED will offer a variety of craft beer options from Texas-based breweries. It will also serve signature craft cocktails made with fresh ingredients, including do-it-yourself Bloody Mary and Mimosa kits at brunch and traditional old-fashioned whiskey sour and premium tequila-infused fruit concoctions in the evenings.
