Tips on Hosting the Perfect Party Using Wine & Cheese
No matter what your favorite is, wine and cheese are a combination that everyone can agree on! With a little help from author, chef, TV star and entrepreneur Bethenny Frankel, you too can look like a pro when hosting a get together for your friends.
Want to host a Pinterest-worthy wine and cheese party? Below are some hosting tips to help you create the perfect event. So mail the invitations, add a few fun decorations, and pick up a variety of cheeses and wines like Skinnygirl Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Moscato, Pinot Noir & Cabernet Sauvignon. Skinnygirl wines are all quality wines but with fewer calories which is always a big plus in my book.
Let’s get this party going!
1. Cheesin’ – Estimate at least one ounce of each cheese per person. To start, 3-5 cheeses (gruyere, smoked gouda, brie, etc.) and 4-6 wines should be the perfect amount.
2. Chalk one up – Use chalkboard or butcher paper to label the pairings. Spread on the table as a runner, and set out chalk/markers to label the wines and draw arrows to suggest pairings.
3. Keeping order – Work from dry to sweet with white wines, and from light to full-bodied with red wines. Start with Skinnygirl Chardonnay and end with Skinnygirl Moscato for the whites, and for the reds, start with Skinnygirl Pinot Noir and end with Skinnygirl Cabernet Sauvignon.
