WHAT: Alamo Kiwanis Club hosts its 53rd season of Western & Heritage Art Show

WHY: Alamo Kiwanis, a club made up of approximately 100 members organized to help local children’s charities, announces its 53rd season of the Western Heritage & Art Show. The event features exclusive, original artwork by artists throughout the Southwest region, in effort to raise donations for children’s charities around San Antonio.
About Alamo Kiwanis Club
Founded in 1947, the Alamo Kiwanis Club is a local organization built to help children’s charities through two major fundraisers – The Western & Heritage Art Show and Fiesta Noche del Rio. Fiesta Noche del Rio is the oldest outdoor dance performance in the United States presented at the historic Arneson River Theatre on the San Antonio Riverwalk, held mid-May through mid-August each year. The Western & Heritage Art Show is every year in January. Alamo Kiwanis Club has raised over $2.75 million for numerous children charities around the city.
