Gran Holiday

2 oz. Gran Cosecha Extra Anejo
2 Barspoons cinnamon simple syrup
1 oz. Amaro Montenegro
1 cinnamon stick
1 dash Angostura Bitters

Stir until properly chilled and diluted. Strain over fresh ice into an old fashioned glass.  Garnish with orange oil and cinnamon stick.
*To extract orange oils, use a vegetable peeler to remove a strip of orange zest. In a forward and downward motion, squeeze the orange peel, pith side in, forcing the essential oils over the cocktail. Rim the outer edge of the cocktail glass with the outside of the peel and hang the twist on the side of the glass.

About Gran Cosecha

Gran Cosecha defines the quality of ultra premium Tequila. The Gran Cosecha agave fields lie 5,000 feet high in the mineral rich Jalisco Mountains known as “Los Altos.” The distillery, Integradora San Agustin, where Gran Cosecha was born and distilled dates back to 1936.Gran Cosecha Ultra Premium Tequila is slow-cooked in brick ovens for 24 hours before having sugar extracted with twice-distilled water in a 4 mill shredding process. Once the sugar content is reduced, the “mosto” or juice is fermented using custom prepared yeast in copper stills for 4 days, double-distilled to preserve aromatic and flavor properties, and (except for Blanco) aged in high-quality American Oak barrels previously used for whiskey. Gran Cosecha portfolio includes Blanco, Reposado aged 6 months, Añejo aged 14 months, and Extra Añejo aged 44 months.

The jaguar in the Gran Cosecha logo is symbolic of the supernatural force that watches over the precious harvest and the continued refinement of our craft. Gran Cosecha Reposado earned the Silver Medal at the 2015 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
