Celebrate the Holidays in French Country Style

Bring the Family in for a Classic Holiday Feast with a Twist

or Take the Feast Home to the Family

la Madeleine has several ways to help you enjoy your holiday. It seems there is always so much hustle and bustle during this time of year. Besides just the usual going to work, there is shopping for presents, decorating and tree trimming, and cleaning the house for the guests and family coming to visit. But the one thing you don’t have to do is cook the Christmas dinner because the Classic Flavors are back for the holidays. Just call la Madeleine and they will cook the holiday feast for you.

Their Christmas meal consists of moist tender oven-roasted turkey breast or flavorful hickory smoked ham, a delicious creamy mushroom gravy that will get raving reviews at your table, cranberry apple stuffing that is so good you will want seconds, cheesy potato gratin, fresh green beans almondine, cranberry orange chutney and some of la Madeleine’s delicious fresh-made sourdough Petit Pain Rolls. You also get a choice of two of their house-made desserts. Choices include classics like pecan tart or pumpkin pie or holiday favorites like Bûche de Noël and Crème Brulee Cheesecake. This take home feast serves 8! Place your order by Dec 21 and you can pick up as late as 4pm Dec 24th.

If your mouth is watering and you can’t wait until Christmas Day to dig into this feast, stop by one of la Madeleine’s locations for a dine-in holiday meal. You can get some of the same tastes right now, but be warned that once you taste this holiday meal, you will still want to order it for the family on Christmas Day. I tried it and can say, even though it wasn’t my turkey dinner, it was all very tasty and opened my eyes and taste buds to new possibilities. While dining-in you can also enjoy wine with your dinner. What would France be without wine?

Another way la Madeleine can help you take the fuss out of your holiday planning and entertaining is through their catering services. Let them bring the holiday feast to your office or event. They will deliver this holiday meal with all the trimmings to your office or event warm and set everything up while you make your speech, hand out presents or just make a toast and visit with your guests. This feast serves 20!

They also offer many other catering options to fit any occasion or budget. Bring the French Countryside to any party with no fuss. Choose from hot meals, lunch bundles, box lunches, desserts and drinks. They even cater breakfast. Many options for any event. la Madeleine will bring everything needed to put your party together (chafing dishes, plates, napkins and utensils) and of course the la Madeleine food everyone has come to love. Take all the honors for a beautiful and tasty spread without the work.

If you don’t want a turkey dinner before Christmas Day, la Madeleine has some other flavorful holiday  dishes with a twist.

The Turkey Cranberry Melt is the same moist, tender turkey breast with homemade cranberry apple stuffing, cranberry orange chutney and melted provolone cheese on a house-made cranberry orange ciabatta roll. This sandwich is a turkey dinner on a bun. It was very filling but not overly heavy. However you can get a half sandwich if you wish. It comes with a choice of either a side of Caesar Salad or a cup of la Madeleine’s famous Tomato Basil Soup. I loved all the flavors on this sandwich and especially loved that fresh baked ciabatta roll.

The Turkey Cranberry Risotto brought all the holiday flavors together in this warm dish. This creamy Parmesan risotto with oven-roasted turkey and cranberries, topped with diced tomatoes, green onions, and Parmesan cheese answered a whole other craving, warm pasta. This dish is served with a freshly-baked mini baguette.

Generations of families have celebrated the holidays at la Madeleine. When they walk into a la Madeleine they are surrounded by a rustic French Country Inn complete with a real fireplace, wood beam ceilings and the food they have loved since they were children; fresh baked breads, pastries, pies, tarts, Quiche Lorraine, or Chicken Friand. Families come back year after year to relish in this tradition. Café Latte, sinful Hot Coco with steamed milk topped with whipped cream & coco and Pâtisseries with friends or breaking bread over a warm and comforting bowl of creamy tomato basil soup on a cold winter day is where memories are made. (Be sure to pick up several jars of the soup while dining-in to take home with you.) And be sure to place your order for the traditional Bûche de Noël!

Start your memories here this season or take the time this holiday to stop in and continue your time-honored tradition and carry your memories forward.
