Beso de Agave
The San Antonio Cocktail Conference Unveiled Their Signature Cocktail for 2016
San Antonio Cocktail Conference – January 14-17, 2016
**Full Disclosure: I attended a media reception in exchange for my review. All opinions are mine.
This much anticipated event highlights the start of the Cocktail Conference season. This year’s unveiling reception took place in the inspiring SAY Sí space. SAY Sí is a year round, long-term, non-profit multidisciplinary arts program that provides students opportunities to develop artistic and social skills in preparation for higher educational advancement and professional careers.
Reception attendees enjoyed light bites and background music while waiting to hear which cocktail made the final cut!
Crafted with a complex combination of agave spirits, the Beso de Agave (Beso, Spanish for ‘kiss’) is the perfect name for the 2016 SACC Signature Cocktail. Agave is known in Mexico as aguamiel, or “honey water”. The Aztecs prized the agave as a gift from the gods and used the liquid from its core to flavor food and drinks.
And so this Beso de Agave is golden, and our gift to you as an expression of our affection!
