Alamo Heights Night Returns to the University of Incarnate Word for Fiesta April 1st

 

 

The 34th Annual Alamo Heights Night ® celebration will take place on Friday April 1st, 5:30pm to 11:30pm, at the campus of the University of the Incarnate Word at 4301 Broadway.

 

 

“It’s Party Time in ’09”®, as the event has been nicknamed (“09” being the last two digits of the Alamo Heights zip code), is known for its vast selection of eats from some of San  Antonio’s favorite restaurants as well as traditional Fiesta fare. The mouthwatering selections will be complimented by adult beverages in the beer and wine gardens.

Two stages will feature live music throughout the evening from bands such as Hotcakes, Skyrocket, Finding Friday, Ruben V, 323rd Army Rock Band and more. The festive atmosphere will be family-friendly as the carnival midway will captivate kids of all ages with new activities including a Rock Climbing Wall plus Human Hamsterballs, Laser Tag and more. Unlimited ride wristbands will be available, in addition to single-ride tickets.

Admission is free for children under 12 and for all active duty and reserve military with a valid ID. Tickets are $5 for ages 12-17 and students with a valid ID, and $15 for adults. All ticket sales will take place at the event site (no advanced sales). Free park and ride service available from Alamo Heights Methodist Church, Alamo Heights High School, Incarnate Word High School, and the San Antonio Zoo Garage on Tuleta.  Shuttles  will  run  from 5:15pm until 12 midnight. Free parking will also be available in the UIW parking lot on the southwest corner of  Hildebrand & Broadway (formerly the AT&T parking lot).

 

 

 

Security screening will be in place at all entrances. Bags/containers larger than 12”x12”x6” are prohibited (with the exception of materials for use for babies or health reasons). The  Alamo  Heights  Rotary  Club  has   raised   over   $2,300,000   in   support   of   non-   profit organizations and community service activities since its inception. Alamo Heights  Night®, an official Fiesta® event since 2014, is their largest fund raiser, organized by over 100 volunteer Rotarians who head numerous  committees  and  recruit  500+  volunteers  to  make the event a success. 2022 sponsors include Glazer’s, Frost Bank and Cavender Auto Group.
