New Music Venue, Stable Hall, Announces Texas Music Showcase at Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival in Tennessee
Stable Hall – the highly anticipated new music venue based out of the historic Pearl Stable building in San Antonio – is excited to announce its participation in the Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival in Franklin, TN, with a Texas music showcase featuring local artists.
WoodHouse, the operating team behind Stable Hall (along with Potluck Hospitality), also operates and manages this Tennessee music festival; the special showcase is part of Stable Hall’s ongoing commitment to artists in the Texas region. Local favorites including Garrett T. Capps, Santiago Jiménez Jr., Rosie Flores and The Peterson Brothers will travel to Franklin to perform among acts like Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlile, Jon Batiste, The Avett Brothers and more on September 24 and 25, 2022.
The WoodHouse team is using the “Pilgrimage to Pilgrimage” as an opportunity to introduce and highlight Texas musicians in Franklin/Nashville, a region well-known for its music history. The artists at Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival historically represent the Americana Music Triangle, with artists and music inspired by the sounds that came out of the region between Memphis, Nashville and New Orleans. This year, WoodHouse aims to expand that region westward to Texas with a Texas music showcase at Pilgrimage.
“We are committed to showcasing local San Antonio and Texas artists at Stable Hall, and I’m excited to be able to bring this talent to my music festival in Tennessee. We’re looking forward to having Texas sounds for the first time this year,” said WoodHouse Principal Brandt Wood.
Based in Dallas, TX, Brandt Wood has over three decades of experience in creating, developing and operating entertainment and hospitality venues and music festivals, including The Green Room, Trees, Gypsy Tea Room, as well as the Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival.

In addition to bringing musicians from Texas on the road, Stable Hall will also bring along Hotel Emma’s Chef John Brand to curate German fare. Once open, Stable Hall in San Antonio will feature an outdoor biergarten that will offer traditional Texan and German Hill Country fare like kolaches, bratwurst, pretzels, craft beer, specialty cocktails and more.
Opening in late 2023, Stable Hall will be a marquee music destination and showcase for national, regional and local talent. Programming will include national touring artists; regional talent from Texas, Mexico and the Americana Music Triangle; as well as a focus on San Antonio’s music scene. The music genres will be a diverse palate of Latin, blues, alt-country, Americana, R&B, pop, indie, singer-songwriter and more.
