Hope You Celebrated Rosé Day with a Bottle of Champagne Telmont
I hope you celebrated Saturday June 11th, National Rosé Day, with the fresh and complex blend of Champagne Telmont’s Réserve Rosé!
This exquisite blend of grapes stems from four different harvests and showcases its strong personality through a symphony of fruits and a full-bodied, elegant presence that evokes romance and harmony – perfect for enjoying on a warm summer day. Singular in its expression of terroir, a revelation of the variety that nature offers from one year to the next.
This sparkling is a blend of Chardonnay & Meunier grapes. Blended Rosé, made from red wine from Telmonts ancestral plots in Damery. Aged in cellars for 5 years. Classic vinification in stainless steel vats without malolactic fermentation.
The initial nose reveals fresh red fruits with a touch of brioche. A very nice bouquet that tickled me pink (my nose and my palate).
On the Mouth
The first sensation is reminiscent of biting into a perfectly ripe Morello cherry, bursting with full and mature aromas.
Powerful, yet remarkably subtle with an extraordinarily long-lasting finish. Beautiful wine in the glass with bubbles from the pour to the last sip! I loved everything about this Champagne!
Pairs well with Parmesan. Perfect wine if you’re looking to celebrate the occasion with an evening dinner party! I thought it went well with my Mediterranean Salad too!
Champagne Telmont Official Supplier of the Cannes Film Festival
Champagne Telmont was in Cannes once again for the 75th edition of the International Film Festival, which took place in May. For the second consecutive year, the Champagne House has been chosen as official supplier of the Festival.
Throughout these two weeks celebrating filmmaking creativity, the House of Telmont will be keen to also share the winemaking creativity it puts into the conception of its cuvées.
Champagne Telmont’s Commitment to the Earth
Champagne Telmont sees the Festival’s choice as a recognition for its meticulous winemaking efforts and a strong message of support for its ambitious “Au Nom de la Terre” (In the Name of Mother Nature) program which endeavors to produce high-quality champagne with the least possible impact on the natural environment.
“We want the Festival to be exemplary in terms of respect for the environment. And Champagne Telmont combines a demanding elaboration process with the preservation of nature. This singular approach, adopted by the hundred-year-old house, and the unique character of its champagne, won us over. We are thrilled to have Champagne Telmont onboard for another year.” – Thierry Frémaux, General Delegate of the Cannes Film Festival
“Being ‘selected’ once again reinforces this honour. It’s a testimony that our message has been heard, that we have ‘won over’ our audience. The House of Telmont is immensely proud and happy to be present at Cannes once more, to transmit its passion for cinema and its commitment to the Earth.” – Ludovic du Plessis, President of Telmont House
About Telmont House
Founded in 1912, the Telmont Champagne House is located in Damery, near Épernay, France. Created in the wake of the champagne riots by Henri Lhôpital, a brave local winegrower, the House remains familial and visionary: Bertrand Lhôpital, Cellar Master and Head of Viticulture of the Telmont House, today represents the fourth generation. Unfailing commitment to the respect of its terroir has led the House to embrace a highly demanding environmental approach. In 2017, it earned its first AB Certification (organic agriculture) for part of its vineyard – the result of a labour of love and patience, proving once more the House’s vow to preserving the environment. The Rémy Cointreau group identified with the values of the House and purchased a majority share in October 2020. The House embodies a unique style: the champagnes are ethereal yet structured, balanced between tension and freshness – a perfect harmony. Champagne Telmont enables the terroir to express itself through its wines, employing its know-how to help reveal the various facets of nature.
