Aldaco’s Mexican Cuisine, located at 20079 Stone Oak Pkwy, San Antonio, TX 78258 is now offering their famous Pastel Tres Leches Cake for pre-order online with pick-up on Easter weekend, April 15th & 16th from 11am-9:30pm each day.

Founder of Aldaco’s Mexican Cuisine, Blanca Aldaco, first introduced this delicious creation to San Antonians over 30 years ago when her original restaurant opened off Commerce Street in 1989. Since then, it has become the preferred way to finish off a delicious meal at the restaurant, as well as an integral part of celebrations for families around the Alamo City.

In the spirit of the Easter season, Aldaco has infused a rainbow of pastels into the sweet cake for an extra pop of color in every slice. Topped with festive pastel sprinkles, this showstopper will be the centerpiece of the table at any Easter gathering. The cakes will be available for pre-order only on Aldaco’s website, with pick up being April 15th & 16th from 11am to 9:30pm. Each  9” cake costs $39.99 & serves up to 20 medium slices.

For guests craving just a single slice, the pastel tres leches can be found on Aldaco’s menu for $8.99 with a dollar from each slice sold going to the Texas Restaurant Association Foundation.

This organization has been integral in keeping Texas restaurants afloat prior and during the pandemic by providing resources, funds, and support to restaurant owners & staff members. Blanca, who has a passion for helping all of those working within the restaurant industry, is a proud board member for the TRA & provides support for the cause whenever possible.

Publication Quotes:

“Tres leches cake was first introduced to San Antonio in 1989, largely through the efforts of Blanca Aldaco. Since then, you can find it at numerous places across town, but Aldaco still serves the best to be had.” – Tanji Patton, Goodtaste with Tanji

“None of the city’s Tres Leches cakes compare to the one made by Aldaco’s. To the best of our knowledge, Blanca Aldaco was the first to serve this treat at her original location (1989) on Commerce Street.” – San Antonio Express News

“The Tres Leches cake, first introduced to San Antonio diners by Blanca Aldaco…has in its own right evolved into the must-have dessert of the city’s Mexican restaurants, surpassing even the flan of the Spanish inspiration.” – Ron Bechtol, Fiesta Magazine
