Celebrate SA, The City of San Antonio’s Official New Year’s Eve Party, is Presented by San Antonio Parks Foundation and Michelob Ultra
Celebrate SA, the City of San Antonio’s Official New Year’s Eve Celebration returns to downtown on Friday, December 31, 2021. Celebrate SA continues to draw in excess of 70,000 excited partygoers annually. This year, the entire downtown area will be vibrant with revelers enjoying the street party.
When:
The live music event and fireworks show will take place on Alamo Street, La Villita and Hemisfair between Market Street and Cesar Chavez Blvd. Official event hours are from 6:00 PM through 12:00 AM, on Friday, December 31st, 2021. The event is 100% FREE to the public.
About:
Produced by the San Antonio Parks Foundation and the City of San Antonio, the event features live entertainment on the Hemisfair stage by open-format deejay, DJ Catwalk, and velvety R&B artist, Andria Rose. High-energy party band, Mélange will close out the night. The 10-piece group will rock all the favorites for 200 minutes straight. Patrons can also expect live entertainment on the Arneson River Theatre stage along the beautiful San Antonio Riverwalk, complete with the annual festive holiday lighting. The Vibe Stage, located at the corner of Villita Way and S. Alamo hosts DJ Xavier the Freakin’ Rican of Univision’s Vibe 107.5 FM.
40 Years of Parks
In 2021, the San Antonio Parks Foundation celebrated the organization’s 40th Anniversary. 40 Years Of Parks will be the theme for the evening featuring a big screen presentation of San Antonio and Bexar County park programming produced over the last 40 years by the San Antonio Parks Foundation, in addition to holiday greetings from area businesses.

Where:
There will be a full array of family friendly programming including a carnival located at the corner of South Alamo Street and César E Chávez Blvd featuring games, rides, and attractions for all ages. South Alamo and Villita Way will be lined with local food and artisan vendor booths offering diverse options. The night will be capped with a communal countdown at midnight, followed by the spectacular fireworks show.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
DJ Catwalk
DJ Catwalk is a creative director, curator, music producer, and DJ based in San Antonio, TX. Her musical journey started when she was 15 years old taking drum lessons from a Slayer cover band drummer. Drums lead to music production where she learned to write beats, record, and edit all types of music. From dinosaur noises on a show that aired on The History Channel to custom runway music for Vancouver Fashion Week, she has really done it all.
This mentality is present in her mixing abilities. Being an open-format DJ and music producer has led her to support a wide range of top musical acts ranging from Gladys Knight to Snoop Dogg to The Raconteurs to Kali Uchis. She has worked with a wide range of companies providing curated musical experiences for brands like Red Bull, Neiman Marcus, the San Antonio Spurs, and Live Nation.
Catwalk has held residencies in San Antonio, Austin, and Los Angeles. She has traveled all over the United States & Mexico providing music and entertainment. Her open-format style ranges from house to hip hop and everything in between. This attitude makes her sets extremely unique and keeps you on your dancing feet.
Andria Rose
Mexícana songstress Andria Rose is a velvety dream. Evoking warm feelings of bliss with her soothing voice and introspective lyrics, Rose’s music is like honey straight out of the jar. Alongside being immersed with different eras and their timeless art, Andria’s inspiration is also drawn from modernity- using her personal experiences as a muse to create painterly music. Now, she writes and records from the comfort of her own home in San Antonio, Texas. Her work has been recognized by notable publications such as Billboard and NPR. She has also toured/opened for artists such as Kali Uchis and The Marias.
Xavier the Freakin’ Rican
