Holi dine on the River Walk Culinary Adventure Tours in San Antonio is Gearing Up for Their 2nd Tour

The second Holi dine on the River Walk tour will take place on Thursday, December 16th.

As the dedicated food and drink writer for the River Walk, Kimberly is excited to take tourists and locals alike on an adventure that explores the sparkling River Walk and its mouthwatering delights. Events include introductions from each venue’s chefs/owners. Although these two ticketed events kick off the tour offerings, she hopes to be curating many more River Walk Culinary Adventures in the future and is also offering specially-curated tours for private parties.

“I feel like this is the perfect culmination of so many years writing about the San Antonio culinary scene. Getting to share my favorite food and drinks with guests and see their faces light up is going to be so much fun! This city is now an UNESCO-designated City of Gastronomy and is full of immense talent. I am just so honored that the San Antonio River Walk Association is behind me on this,” says Kimberly Suta.

Cocktails and Appetizers

Similarly to the November tour, this walking tour is a progressive dinner that starts at The Esquire Tavern’s Downstairs Bar for festive cocktails and appetizers, including Beef Chalupitas, Shrimp Cocktail and Deviled Eggs.

Dinner

Next stop, Dorrego’s in the beautiful Valencia Hotel. Weather permitting, guests will dine on the terrace overlooking the glittering River Walk and enjoy one of several choices for dinner, including an Argentinean-inspired Ravioli filled with prosciutto, mozzarella and ricotta, served in a rustic tomato pan jus, NY Strip Steak with a creamy smoked gouda bacon polenta cake and slow-roasted eggplant or a Pan-Seared Lemon, Garlic & Thyme Chicken Breast, served with roasted potatoes, sauteed veggies and pan jus.

For dessert, we venture to the new Ambler Restaurant in the stunning Hotel Contessa for a decadent warm Chocolate Souffle Cake (with Mexican vanilla milkshake) or a vibrant Strawberry & Margarita Tart.
