Ten Thousand Villages Celebrates Their 5th Anniversary at the Pearl Tomorrow July 14
Ten Thousand Villages, one of the world’s oldest and largest fair trade organizations, is celebrating 5 years being at Pearl with food, special discounts and free tote bags to first 50 purchasing customers.
WHAT: On Saturday July 14th, Ten Thousand Villages will celebrate their 5th anniversary at Pearl. For the last five years Ten Thousand Villages has been showcasing the work of artisans in developing countries to Pearl through fair trading relationships. Ten Thousand Villages will celebrate their anniversary at Pearl with several specials including door prizes from Hotel Emma and Supper, story telling with Sue Kuentz and Anastasia, pastries from Duck Donuts and Bakery Lorraine, activities for kids and more. There will also be a performance by the San Antonio Refugee Center Children’s Band at 3:00 p.m. Additional events include:
