More Wiener Dog Races this Weekend at Krause’s Cafe in New Braunfels
Krause’s Cafe + Biergarten, the New Braunfels, TX-based restaurant that honors the city’s historic German roots is offering more Wiener Dog Races, an authentic food menu, a ‘biergarten,’ filled with German town folk’s family flags, traditional live music, and more.
The restaurant has been hosting Dachshund Races outside of their biergarten and will hold the second summer round on Saturday, July 14. Krause’s Cafe welcomes dachshunds to race their way to the finish line on the turf patio. All friendly dogs are welcome, races will begin at 3:30 p.m and your readers just need to register their Dachshund by calling the restaurant. If they don’t have a doxen, they can still join the fun and sip on huge steins of German beer while cheering on the pups.
Attendees from New Braunfels and beyond have been bringing their pups to the races to partake in a little friendly competition. Some come in scarves, some come in sombreros.
Let the Dachshund Races begin! Come see why this is one of our most popular events at Krause’s. Save the date for Saturday, July 14, at 3:30 PM! The event is free and open to all ages. We are accepting food and supply donations for the HSNBA.
Register your Speedy Weenie by calling the cafe at 830-625-2807 or fill out this form.
