Taste of Tradition with Price*s Original – it’s a Tradition Worth Sharing

This post is sponsored by Price*s but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.

Price*s Pimiento Cheese has been a favorite taste of tradition among families since 1959. I was raised on it as a kid and so were many of my friends. Making a sandwich with pimiento cheese was an easy and economical way for my mom to feed my siblings and I (and several of our friends) after a morning of play time. That and a cup of soup would last us until dinner time, and we never grew tired of it. Don’t tell mom, but dipping our fingers into the container whenever we were hungry was our second favorite way of enjoying this staple as a kid.

Price*s Cheese was first created in someone’s kitchen as many great recipes are, even today. Made with real Cheddar cheese, real pimientos and a sweet tangy salad dressing for binding, it soon became a hit in kitchens across America. It is still made with the same quality ingredients even though it is no longer made in the family kitchen. They have added several other products to the brand like the Lite version which is the same as the Original with 50% less fat and the Zesty Jalapeno which adds Jalapeno peppers to the original. I know this is a hit in Texas with our love of spicy Mexican food. They also now have a Southern Style made with real mayonnaise giving this version a savory homemade taste. They make the Southern Style in Spicy Jalapeno too! So Price*s Original Style is not your Mama’s pimiento cheese anymore. These delicious spreads can be found in the cheese section of your local grocery store.

Taste of Tradition

Of course, you can still enjoy the good ol’ pimiento cheese sandwich that you grew up with, but now there are so many versatile ways to use this original pimiento cheese spread. I have found recipes to make sure you are the Boss of the backyard barbecue, the titan of tailgate parties and the hero at the family reunion potluck. And these recipes are all so easy yet delicious thanks to Price*s continuing the tradition of delivering the same quality product to grocery stores across the country. Give these cheese recipes a try and you’ll see what I mean when I say, “Make it delicious and simple and everyone will love it”.
