Beer Pairing Dinner at The General Public with Texas’ Oldest Craft Brewery is Happening Now
Locally sourced food served with Texas brewed beer equals a delicious beer pairing dinner … it doesn’t get much better than that and it’s happening until July 1.!
The General Public is teaming up with Saint Arnold Brewing Company to launch a special beer pairing dinner, which will be available for just $25 per person, June 25 through July 1. The four-course meal will be paired with brews that perfectly complement each dish. The special prix fixe dinner includes:
- Fancy Lawnmower with Young Kale Caesar – Baby kale, Parmigiano-Reggiano, Caesar dressing and pistachio toast.
- Santo Black Kölsch with Uncle Josh’s Enchilada – Muenster cheese, beef picadillo, fresh onion, green chile cream and cilantro.
- Amber Ale with Center Cut Ribeye – Hand cut steak, local butter and wild arugula.
- Art Car IPA with Birthday Cake – house-made vanilla butter cake and buttercream icing.
Saint Arnold Brewing Company, located in Houston, was founded in 1994 and is Texas’ oldest craft brewery. Founders Brock Wagner and Kevin Bartol chose Houston because, other than living there, it was the largest city in the country that did not have a microbrewery. Their goal is to brew world class beers and deliver them to their customers as fresh as possible, making them the best beers in Texas.
The General Public’s special beer pairing dinner does not require an RSVP and can be ordered on an individual basis. It will only be served June 25 through July 1. So mark your calendar because you won’t want to miss this delicious opportunity to indulge in two Texas favorites.
Located at 17619 La Cantera Pkwy, #102, in The RIM, The General Public features a gourmet menu and a wide selection of cocktails, beer, wine and whiskey – served both inside and on its air-conditioned patio.
