Lick Releases NEW San Antonio Tricentennial Flavor + Fiesta Medal Giveaway
Lick releases new Honest Ice Creams flavor commemorating San Antonio’s Tricentennial Celebration, Tres Leches Flavor, and a Fiesta Medal Giveaway.
Lick Honest Ice Creams’ newest flavor, Tres Leches, was created in honor of San Antonio’s upcoming 300th anniversary. The festive and indulgent flavor will be available at all of Lick’s scoop shops now through May. The Tres Leches flavor folds airy sponge cake soaked in sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk and salted caramel into house-made dulce de leche ice cream. Both the dairy base and the dulce de leche include milk and cream sourced from Mill King Creamery in McGregor, Texas.
In addition, Lick is kicking off Fiesta weekend with a giveaway at its San Antonio location at the Pearl (312 Pearl Parkway #2101) on Saturday, April 21 and Sunday, April 22: every 300th transaction at the shop results in a customer winning one of Licks’ custom-made Fiesta medals. Lick’s Fiesta medals are available for purchase at the Pearl location for $10 each, with $1 being donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Antonio.
About Lick Honest Ice Creams
Lick Honest Ice Creams has been making seasonal and sustainable artisan ice creams that celebrate the flavors and culture of Texas since 2011. Free of antibiotics and added hormones, the milk and cream in Lick’s proprietary mix come from the grass-fed cows of a single-source Central Texas dairy. The other ingredients are sourced from across the Lone Star State, with a focus on Central Texas, and are grown naturally and responsibly. Every component is made from scratch in Lick’s kitchen and each pint and tub of ice cream is packed by hand. Since opening, Lick Honest Ice Creams has received praise from The New York Times, The Cooking Channel, The Food Network, GQ, Thrillist, Southern Living, Food & Wine, Tasting Table, Travel + Leisure, American Doers, and People.
