Popular Chicken Brand, Raising Cane’s, Donates 100% of Fiesta Medal Proceeds to Animal Defense League of Texas
San Antonio dog-lovers and Fiesta Medal maniacs rejoice as popular chicken brand gives 100% of Fiesta medal proceeds to Animal Defense League of Texas!
From now until May 1 – or when supplies run out – all San Antonio-area Raising Cane’s* will be selling 2018 limited-edition Fiesta Medals for $8, with all proceeds benefiting the Animal Defense League of Texas (ADL) (*excluding San Antonio International Airport location).
Last year, Raising Cane’s donated $10,862.59 to ADL through its medal program.
“Fiesta Medals are a fun tradition that we have during Fiesta and we are proud to join our community in celebrating while also supporting the ADL and the amazing work they do for the animals in San Antonio,” said Raising Cane’s Marketing Advisor Chantel Romero. “ADL operates as San Antonio’s only true ‘no-kill’ facility and the League provides programs and services which strengthen the bond between animals and people. We had an amazing response to our medal last year, and we are excited to expand the sale of the medal to include our new Boerne location in support of ADL.”
In addition to the medal program, Raising Cane’s is a third-year Yellow Rose Sponsor of the Battle of Flowers parade on April 27. This year’s float will celebrate the local cultural icon Rollercade, with a roller disco theme and Raising Cane’s iconic disco ball.
Raising Cane’s is renowned for its fresh, never ever frozen chicken fingers, its craveable – some say addictive – secret-recipe Cane’s sauce, crinkle-cut fries, coleslaw, Texas toast, freshly brewed sweet tea and fresh-squeezed lemonade.
